Named Clothing: Lumme Pleated Skirt

This pattern is for a sweet skirt with a beautifully pleated waistline. This skirt features a side zipper fastening, reaches just past the knee, and includes a wide hemline. We recommend a lightweight fabric with little stretch.

Pattern includes US sizes 0-14 (EUR sizes 32-46/UK sizes 4-18)

Designed by sisters Saara and Laura Huhta, Named is a Finnish DIY fashion label that produces patterns for fashion clothing. Named garments are a combination of Scandinavian clean-lined simplicity and interesting details. The aim of the collections is to bring a new perspective to making one’s own clothes and to support ethical and ecological consuming in contrast to a clothing industry focused on fast fashion.

Named releases two main collections a year. The patterns have five levels of difficulty, which allows anyone from a beginner to a more experienced sewer to find patterns suited to their skill level. Patterns come with a comprehensive instructions booklet that includes for example detailed and illustrated sewing instructions, cutting layout, material consumption chart, and finished measurements for all sizes. The patterns and instructions are designed and printed in Helsinki, Finland.
