A simple t-shaped dress or top with a gathered drawstring neckline that can be adjusted to sit at your desired height. Make it sleeveless or with sleeves, structured and architectural in poplin or soft and relaxed in linen.

All seam allowances are 1.5cm unless stated otherwise and are included in the pattern. Skill level: Beginner.

Suggested fabrics: Light to medium weight wovens such as linen, brushed cotton, cotton lawn, cotton poplin, tencel, Indian handlooms, lightweight baby cord, or cotton double gauze.

You will also need:

• Matching thread

• 1/3 yard (0.3 m) lining fabric for pockets

• 1 ½ yards of 3/8" (1 cm) wide ribbon or linen tape (optional)

Merchant & Mills patterns are now printed within Europe, the pattern paper is 70gsm white (FSC-certified) and is made only 180km away from the printers. Instructions now come in booklet format rather than A3 sheets. The paper is PEFC/01-31-126certified.
