An oversized, boxy shirt with a dropped back hem and half placket. Swingy and absurdly comfortable.

All seam allowances are 1.5cm unless otherwise stated. Skill level: Intermediate.

Suggested fabrics: 3-6oz linen, cotton poplin, cotton lawn, cotton double gauze, Indian handlooms, cotton chambray, tencel, hemp/cotton blends. Do not choose anything too heavy, as the back is lower than the front, it will pull down, making it uncomfortable at the neck!

You will also need:

• Matching thread

• ½ yard (0.3 m) lightweight interfacing

• Six ½"-¾" (6-11 mm) buttons

Merchant & Mills patterns are now printed within Europe, the pattern paper is 70gsm white (FSC-certified) and is made only 180km away from the printers. Instructions now come in booklet format rather than A3 sheets. The paper is PEFC/01-31-126certified.
