Inspired by working women, with a dash of the Twenties. The Factory dress slips over the head, features pockets and ready-rolled up sleeves. The Factory dress is 'easy fit' so use the bust measurement only for sizing. A separate pattern is now included to make the Factory as a top. 

All seam allowances are 1.5cm unless otherwise stated. Skill level: Beginner.

Suggested fabrics: Linen, linen blends, tencel, cotton chambray, very fine wool, or corduroy.

You will also need:

• Matching thread

• ½ yard (0.4 m) lightweight interfacing

• Inner pockets can be made in self or lining

Merchant & Mills patterns are now printed within Europe, the pattern paper is 70gsm white (FSC-certified) and is made only 180km away from the printers. Instructions now come in booklet format rather than A3 sheets. The paper is PEFC/01-31-126certified.
